It's hard to write a poem
About things I can't explain
I wish it were easy
It would help my pain
It gives me a headache
To find the right words
That I could say
So that you could've heard
How much this all means
How great it all is
To have a love so deep
Without betrayal of a kiss
To feel happy in your sadness
To feel loved when you're alone
To feel full when you're on empty
To feel safe without a home
To feel warmth out in the cold
To see light down a dark road
It's hard to write a poem
With an ending I do not know
