A very young soldier at a time of war
During eras of peace, her life was a bore,
Now in the truck, plotting with vet'rans of yore,
Waiting til the day she can settle the score
Her husband, in an office downtown
Was working inside when the building came down
A foreigner threw his life to the ground
Along with the life of every Citizen around
Loving him dearly even before they were wed
News of his death filled the woman with dread
She now has only one mission in her head
She'll never stop fighting til they win or she's dead
Whether her goal is noble, that is unclear
But to her mission she will always adhere
Into war she goes on the tip of the spear
More than nervous, she clutches her gun in fear

Funeral of a Soldier
drops of rain
mask the pain
of the grief thats on her face
black veil flowing
as the wind is blowing
no one could take his place
a war fought too long
guns used for wrong
never got a last embrace
of his beautiful wife
the love of his life
who now cries dressed up in black lace
mask the pain
of the grief thats on her face
black veil flowing
as the wind is blowing
no one could take his place
a war fought too long
guns used for wrong
never got a last embrace
of his beautiful wife
the love of his life
who now cries dressed up in black lace
